The insurance transfers are a perfect example.

Truth is, it is up to the complete discretion of you guessed it, Bruce Flatt.  This is the risk of holding these securities.  If one does not trust Flatt, then one needs to get out.  Simple as that.  The junk rating spoke volumes.  The NCIB makes me feel a little better.

I suppose the independent directors could revolt....technically, they are in control as they have 3 of 5 votes.  Maybe they are being disruptive.  As I said in an earlier post, Brookfield 2024 is weaker than Brookfield 2016.
