RE:RE:Acreage sharesFor one class of shares you have to give up 2 Acreage shares plus a third and for the other class you have to give up 3 shares and a third so one deal is better value than the other.
All of this happening and now vending all of these shares in to CUSA will bring Canopy, Acreage and Constellation together as the new and hopefully formidable US MSO with Constellation lending in the background and the same hardcore management that orchestrated this deal and I think, manipulated the values of Canopy, Acreage and some of their other brand's companies to firesale values where they took advantage of investors.
I don't think the chances of hitting the good old values will happen but then again, the States are 10x the consumers that Canada was and stand a chance of making profits.
Even Klein in his BNN interview mentioned 10x sales, but that doesn't mean it will make the pre- consolidation shareholders whole again.
Quality and price are going to become more important for successful potpreneurs and any legal bills that move pot investors in to the market is also going to drive underfinanced potpreneurs out of the market until the law of supply and demand gets equilibrium.
Too much supply and too many players, especially black market players in the US are hurting a healthy cannabinoid business.
Value added and pharma developers have a huge edge if they can deliver product to consumers because they can demand more than smokeable skus.
