AR was trading almost at an all time low with the chance to be a 10 bagger in a year or two, for shares in a company that is trading at it's all time high. But it get's worse because even that GARBAGE valuation is not locked in, everyone is looking at upside, but if gold were to sell off and Alamos shares were to decline back to say $15 which they have traded at this year then what? That equals .27 cents per share for magino! You are telling me they couldn't of raised another $100 mill if needed to get over the finish line here? They said GMT wanted more of the last placement? I think retail alone could of easily stepped up for an additional $50 mill if given the chance? But instead we are giving it all away, for peanuts. How about a freaking joint venture. Anything to maintain some of the upside. The kind of investor buying AR at it's lows is not the kind who buys alamos at it's highs. Just my opinion.
by your assessment
if a strong company with cash on hand etc. Alamos would go back to $15 and POD would retract that much where do you think AR with financing issues 1.1 bill shares outstanding mine issues at the moment and the hedges be trading at.????
we saw what happened when they gave the bad news $.215 !!! would it drop even lower than that you mentioned a RS it would certainly happen then... kiss of death...
so by your calculations $.27 would still be a better deal if not a fantastic deal aas compared to the above alterntive.
think about it
