My monthly cable bill is $171.00. $80 is internet and the rest is TV. My cell plan is billed separately. The new generation is only signing up for cable or in my example $80.00. Companies like BCE are losing $91.00 a month (53%) because the new generation refuses to pay for TV and specialty channels. And some young people don't even have home internet anymore. They have unlimited cell plans from low cost providers like Freedom and they stream their content on their phones and tablets on the run. And if by chance they would like some TV, there are several options to get local stations for free.
