yes i agree this didnt happen overnight i think Young made a play here... and we will see if it works or not.
better than sitting back and getting raped by whoever was going to pick up financing, or aproaching all the mining companys from a positiong of weekness asking for takeover bids..
." please good sir's could you make an offer"
this is what i posted earlier:
you are behind the 8 ball needing financing and and knowing any move in regads to this or a PP would further hurt dilute shareholders and SPtake another sh..it. kicking.
so you go to your next door neighbor and say hey you interested in buying us we would be open to an offer
everyone in the minig community knew AR was in a bit of Trouble
much better than soliciting bids by all the big guys, they are all looking to buy up companys at the cheapest value possible .......you agree to a low ball offer by one
it makes big news in the mining community, gets coverage by all things that cover mining.
Now you have as said above every board of the major players discussing how they can get the mine themselves, mabe not at firesale pricing but still for a good deal.
Young just has to sit back and see what shakes out .......at least we are not going door to door begging for a better bid!!!
this deal may still go thru but Alamos will be at higher price than $18.45 so better deal for shareholders going forward,
and if there are no counter offers that means Alamos has payed what AR is worth
the old addage holds things are only worth what someone is willing to pay?!
all just a theory but plausible
