RE:RE:RE:maybe the performance will begin to match the old Semafo dayI will do my best, but , as I said before, at this point it is still somewhat dreaming.
When Endeavour started giving a few of the details about Tanda-Iguela I couldn't help notice that it had some similarities to B2 Gold's Fekola Mine in Mali. I am not an expert, and Endeavour hasn't said anything about mineralogy at Tanda, but you can tell they are very excited about the prospects of the mine. It will be open pit, the grades are pretty good , and so far they have indicated resources of 4.5m oz au. The PFS will be out at the end of the year when we will know alot more. This year they will drill 35 km, so big potential for reserve increases.
Now Fekola is like that. Open pit, decent grades, and 10m oz au at this time. And in a good year it can produce 600,000 oz au, and in the first few years the cash cost was crazy low - less than $300/oz if I remember right. Fekola took a bit over 2 years to build, and again if memory serves, cost a billion. Fekola has made B2 into a cash cow.
Kalana is also on Endeavours to do list. Acquired with the Semafo deal, it could be built for $300m and produce 186 t oz au pa. Very low cost production .
In 2025 Endeavour says it will produce 1.3 m oz au. So speculating: plus 600,000 from Tanda, and 186,000 from Kalana and we have a definite path to 2m oz au pa. And all very low cost. That would be at least 3 years away, and lots will happen in that time, and Endeavour has a ton of other possibles, and production at some mines could start to drop.
And yes a couple mill oz at $2500 gold with very low cash costs, and there will be so much cash they will need to hire a CEO who is willing to take some off their hands!
