The hedge funds play in both directions so they can be short one minute and long the next. Could have been a fund throwing in the big bids to suck retail into buying...we'll see.
Be interesting to see if the 52 week low can hold today. These funds can be relentless when they want to pile on and take a stock down. Thankfully BCE is big enough that eventually other funds with a longer term view will step in and stop the nonsense.
