Greenlane Renewables Inc T.GRN

Alternate Symbol(s):  GRNWF

Greenlane Renewables Inc. is a Canada-based company, which provides biogas upgrading systems. Its systems produce clean, renewable natural gas from organic-waste sources including landfills, wastewater treatment plants, dairy farms, and food waste, suitable for either injection into the natural gas grid or for direct use as commercial vehicle fuel. The biogas upgrading systems, marketed and sold by the Company under the Greenlane Renewables brand, remove impurities and separate carbon dioxide from bio methane in the raw biogas created from the anaerobic decomposition of organic waste at landfills, wastewater treatment plants, farms, food waste streams, and other feedstock sources. It is engaged in deploying the three main upgrading technologies: water wash, pressure swing adsorption, and membrane separation, plus proprietary biogas desulfurization technology. It has delivered over 145 biogas upgrading systems into 19 countries and over 160 biogas desulfurization units.

Furthermore, the capture and conversion of landfill gas to RNG can make a significant contribution to reducing the rate of climate change, particularly in the short to medium term, while also promoting sustainable waste management practices and supporting the broader transition towards a low-carbon economy. Essentially, this double impact - directly cutting greenhouse gas output by preventing the release of potent methane emissions, while also enabling a shift away from fossil fuels towards renewable energy - makes landfill gas capture and RNG production a powerful tool in comprehensive strategies to mitigate climate change impacts.

At least the goverment in Brazil gets it and understands that landfills and waste dumps cause a major methane problem , thats why they are offerring incentives for equipment purchases to help turn the polluting methane into a renewable fuel source and are focused on the problem.

The people in Brazil as well as the goverment in Brazil want to accomplish 2 things going forward, 1) reduce their dependancy and use of LNG ( fossil fuel ), 2)  increase their use of RNG (
renewable fuel).

If Greenlane can capitilize on the current opportunity in Brazil by closing a number of deals and provided that they manage supply chains and get projects completed  on time and on budget ( major issue in 2023 in my mind), then they should do very well indeed.

Overall I think that they are on the right path, Greenlane 2.0 should be able to deliver profitable results at some point in  2024 there are a number of positive developments happening both in the US and Brazil, with
all the changes that were implemented in 2023  they should be able to have very favorable results in 2024 or mid 2025.
