yup hence I said ~50% NOT >50%. 46.1% and 46.8% of votes in 2016 and 2020 respectively were for Trump. My point is its not 1 person Trump responsible, but ~50% of the voting population voted for Trump.

Same applies in Canada, we had a massive amount of the population responsible for electing Trudumb and Singy.
