Acreage A and Bgetting zero/zero for Canopy's significant movements to the upside.
Acreage has been capped to Canopy's shareprice and is destined to be the US MSO when Canopy swaps out Canopy shares for both classes of Acreage shares.
I guess shareholders of Acreage have been so screwedover that it is getting ten foot pole status from investors.
And yet the deal is for Canopy to print up shares to swap for Acreage shares albeit at another consolidation castration for Canopy shareholders.
There are only 10% of the preconsolidation shares left to trade and when this deal is finally consumated and/or we get some US legislation that is deemed as a legalization of pot from the Feds, those shares are going to be in big demand and those Acreage shares should retrieve some of their value imho.
The dilution for this deal is going to be minimal but Canopy is well reknowned as a world leading LP that will rise again when all of the involved companies join forces as CUSA to be formidable players on US soil and Internationally.
I believe that through Constellation's guidance and overseeing that they haven't walked away from the cannabinoid business at all but rather, scooped up part ownership of some very good brands that were bargain basement priced and getting all of those brands selling in the US will realize great upside in value.
