LABS has rebadged itself as a pharma company and a micro/start-up version at that. It is being treated as such.
The other players are 'cannabis' companies and are running because the market see the potential of recreational and those are the names (biggest ones) that rule that world.
'Getting the name out' doesn't matter when the focus isn't consumer goods. The are literally hundreds of smallish pharma brands out there than you have never heard of making money hand over fist. LABS wants to be that before a race to the bottom consumer outfit.
yes they rebranded as specialty Pharma outfit ..i get that.. but they do have exposure to the recreational market and one would think that would at least gain them some traction for a few cent increase.
again yesterday on BNN they mentioned the pot stock rally and citing that its possibly due to talk about re-sceduoling in the US .... it does help the rec pot industry somewhat as you may not be charged federaly with posession of a substance equal to Heroin/cocaine etc. but its far from legalizing it federaly (that will come but you have to get a majority of congress/senate and the pres to sign off on that one) i cant see that happening anytime soon.
the companys that the US re -sced helps the most are companys like MPL
then they mentioned Germany... and got that wrong again ...saying they legalized recreational Pot...the way i understand it they made medical MJ easier to perscribe and lifted some of the over the top regulations on storage etc.
yes they allow for possession increase and some MJ clubs to operate but still illegal to sell it recreationaly.....
so again the type of company German de reg helps most is a company like MPL
