Good points.
 

I find they can't play to much with these reits...    they really need them.  Plus the private landlord ( condo owner usually has much highe rents then reits )

Government needs to work with them to keep up with supply and the math just doesn't make sense for a new building unless you rent it for a certain amount. 

( so if the government puts too many restrictions on these things, they just won't get built . )  of course they also need to private sector but no one wants to build a 300 unit tower and lose money on the rent.   ( and they are just not cheap to build anymore )   It's going to be a longterm problem.  


 like I said I haven't even bought yet except for ere.un 

but looking to add on weakness I think it very resilient sector in all cycles but like all other things you do have the time it correctly.   

But you're correct there's not a huge upside at these prices.

I still think it's very interesting. If you look at all of the apartment charts, they look more or less the same straight down last week or 2.

  It's possible somethings in the budget. ???

 ( other than the stuff that's been announced the last few weeks )
