A number of people I know switched from black market to legal.  Their reasons included:

Better consistency with the product

Better options / flavours etc

Known / measured THC content vs getting whatever you get when you buy BM 

No worries if additions etc when buying legal

Price was similar or better in cases

IMHO black market cannabis will eventually be similar to what we see now  for black market alcohol.  We all heard of it but it's a thing of the past.
