RE:Nano One and Supply Agreements Very Soon! I have spoken with the team at Nano and they have confirmed that Candiac#1 is only running on intermittent basis right now to make samples for customers. They are recouping the costs of materials from the sample takers.
I took this as a positive sign since each batch of LFP can cost Nano upwards of $50k in materials so it is good to see they are being fiscally responsible and not running the plant to produce LFP without an off take contract.
Although Candiac#1 has a nameplate capacity (measured in TPA), it is essentially a dormant plant right now and for the next few months outside of customer evealuation and refinement sampling. And possibly Nano's own R&D.
Again, this is a positive that Nano is so mindful not to burn cash making LFP without an off take contract.
good luck to all the longs.
