RE:RE:RE:anonymous isnt that active todayDoes the reality support your analysis? There was significant activity by insiders at the end of January and at the end of March. If all acquisitions of shares by insiders have to be made public, the numbers you suggest don't appear to work out ie. stock house, Canadian Insider, SEDI. I'm not suggesting you're wrong as you have clearly looked into this with some intent and passion. I'm merely pointing out the arithmetic.

In fact more than half the trades on some of these low volume REITs including BTB.UN  are of the 100, 200 and 300-500 share lots. I'm not sure, even in the short term, the value of this strategy but it certainly is popular. It's hard to imagine that insiders benefit from this and as long as they are forced through regulation to be transparent any misgivings that investors truly have should be addressed as you have done or moving one's money elsewhere.

Having said that, CSE regulations are so weak to be laughable in some cases. Exhibit 1 ....the regulations associated with shorting a stock. So maybe your strategy of dealing with this by shareholders is not only noble but also necessary.
