Oh yeah they're the best and the brightest alright, the best at knowing how to make sure they get paid as much as they possibly can and the brightest at knowing when it's time to resign and get a massive severance package once they are certain the common shareholders have had enough of them.
Imagine what their pay scale and bonuses would be if the day to day retail shareholder got to decide what pay and bonuses they get. But of course when you have a system designed by crooks, run by crooks, and regulated by crooks what else should we expect.
How the masses haven't put an end to this nonsense years ago is really quite remarkable!
