A considerable number of them are facing the imminent maturity of their low-interest COVID-related debts. Controlling inflation appears challenging, leading to the expectation of prolonged high interest rates. It's becoming evident that a greater number of companies than anticipated will have to seek refinancing at elevated rates or risk being denied credit due to tightened lending standards by banks, prompted by increased delinquencies.
