Promising Copper Discoveries From AMQ In an article released yesterday, Reuters highlighted how some are predicting that by 2030, the demand for copper driven by artificial intelligence and data centers could increase by up to one million metric tons. This surge in demand, combined with the ongoing energy transition towards electric vehicles and renewable energy technologies, is expected to exacerbate supply deficits towards the end of the decade.

In pursuit of addressing future copper supply Abitibi Metals' (Ticker: AMQ.c or AMQFF for US investors) persistent exploration endeavors aim to reveal the untapped potential of the resource-rich Abitibi Greenstone Belt in Quebec.
Abitibi Metals recently shared notable advancements in its inaugural drill initiative at the B26 Polymetallic Deposit, situated in Quebec, Canada.
The ongoing exploration efforts, comprising 8,839 meters drilled across 29 holes thus far, underscore Abitibi Metals' dedication to unlocking the full mineralization potential of the site.
The latest revelations showcase compelling intersections, particularly within drill hole 1274-24-294, where Abitibi Metals intercepted promising mineralization. Results indicate 61.3 meters at 2.5% Cu equivalent (CuEq), including 10.6 meters at 11.4% CuEq.
These findings underscore the presence of both high-grade core sections and surrounding lower-grade zones, hinting at significant bulk tonnage possibilities at the B26 Deposit.
The identification of low-grade near-surface targets across the reported drill holes bolsters the surface open-pit potential of the B26 Deposit. CEO Jonathan Deluce, emphasized the potential for capitalizing on the low-grade material in a favorable copper pricing environment, thus enhancing the value proposition of the B26 Deposit.
Abitibi's drilling approach includes plans for expansion to evaluate the down-dip and along-strike potential, as evidenced by the decision to introduce three additional drill holes to further investigate the high-grade core discovered in drill hole 1274-24-294.
The positive trajectory of the drill program aligns with Abitibi Metals' overarching vision of establishing itself as a significant player in Quebec's mineral exploration and development sector.
The strategic portfolio, including the option to earn 80% of the B26 Polymetallic Deposit and the Beschefer Gold Project, affirms the Company's commitment to acquiring and developing top-tier base and precious metal properties with substantial growth prospects.
