I watched it after the fact.. I wouldnt necessarily word it that TUD is in the driver's seat, but i think what they do will be paramount.....What it sounds like is Rudi is willing to move the tunnel, but would rather not if he doesn't have to....sounds like he is waiting to see if TUD actually needs that land and if they do he'll go elsewhere...doesn't sound like he plans on ramming something through but he also wants answers.....hopefully they can get this resolved....

I have to say, this was my first exposure to Rudi in any way shape or form and I came away impressed....I dont think his intention is to cause TUD harm...he just wants to know if he can put his tunnel there or if he needs to move it...

So I guess after all that? I would say...don't expect a tunnel permit application without some form of agreement in place...It would appear that things are not nearly as acrimonious as they have been purported...
