How it is done, bang, bang, bang The commission also approved a zoning variance to allow K. Hovnanian Homes to build on 18 lots it is purchasing in the former Alta Estates subdivision.
In a March 15 letter to the city, K. Hovnanian Homes said the company is set to purchase an additional 18 lots within the next 45 days.

Commissioners agreed and voted unanimously to approve the variance.
