The Santa Ana project, under Outcrop Silver's sole ownership, sprawls across 27,000 hectares, approximately 110 kilometers from Bogota, Colombia. This area boasts a rich historical backdrop dating back to at least 1585, with mining archives indicating the existence of historically prolific silver mines. Nestled within this district lies the Santa Ana project, distinguished by its regional-scale parallel vein systems, spanning a significant portion of the Mariquita District.
The PEA: A Foundation of Promise
Equipped with a preliminary resource estimate, Outcrop Silver lays a sturdy groundwork for its exploration endeavors. The estimate reveals an indicated resource of 24.2 million ounces of silver equivalent at a grade of 614 grams per tonne, alongside an inferred mineral resource of 13.5 million ounces of silver equivalent at a grade of 435 grams per tonne. All together the project hosts a whopping 37.7Moz resource, indicated and inferred.
Beyond the Known Veins
Going beyond established veins, Outcrop Silver's exploration unit has pinpointed additional high-grade targets ready for drilling. Utilizing their expertise, they aim not only to extend the current mineral resource but also to unearth new prospects within the project's expanse.
