RE:RE:RE:POG up over $200 per ounce since offer was madecrazytimes wrote: okgo...why would they do that now, what's the rush? the deal doesn't close for a long time. Because this deal is shares in alamos only, if alamos were to settle back down to where it was a month ago, $15 the takeover price would only be about .30 cents and that's if you include spinco. Therefore if someone else was interested, why not wait and see if this happens and then you could simply offer a few cents more. lol. Actually waaay below todays trading price. lol. It's a garbage deal. Just my opinion.
or Alamos price could be at $25 or higher
any company has to judge the deal on what it is now ...not going to get into where POG will be in a week or 2 months from now we are judging the deal as of right now arent we
everyone is upset because they think AR is beeing stolen at currnt value which is actually higher than the $18.45 the deal is based on.
by your argument if Alamos price would drop down to $15 it would probably based on the POG (unless one of their major mines blows up..Unlikely) so if POG lets say goes back down to $1900 where do you think AR shares would trade LOL with all the known other problems they were having.
so any other company has to consider the value as of now if they decide to counter ...no one has a crystal ball but if i were a betting man i would bet on POG to be at least $2300 in 2 months from now ( and that would possibly be a conservative valuation) so the value of AR would be based on that for a counter offer
Just an opinion.
