Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. The point is those who are saying that share price difference is not important because of a higher 2 cent monthly dividend is not looking at it rationally. Everyone that has WCP should care about share price appreciation and should weigh it more importantly than a 2 cent monthly dividend compared to its peers without any excuses for poor performance.

I agree with you completely James, shareprice and dividend must be taken in to consideration and although I believe it may be a somewhat overrated, at some point we do have to get around to comparing debt as well. I own shares in both and still think both have room to grow shareprice
