I think most people realize that malnutrition has a history in that part of the world.  What is difference today is the widespread nature of climate change effects.  The truth is that a very large proportion of copper production will suffer in the coming years.  There is no plan or program that will prevent very serious consequences for many low-latitudinal nations.
 
You can educate yourselves to understand the risks involved or you can go on blissfully ignoring the world as it is, and the financial consequences in the future. 

It’s your play do as you wish.
