On our last trip to Spain (about a year and a half ago) we had to fill out the Spanish equivalent of an ArriveCan app.....took about a minute to fill out and we got our approval a minute later (thinking that the Spanish Government didn't pay millions for their app).  We flew from Montreal to Madrid,  At the airport in Montreal they asked to see the approval from Spain.  When we arrived in Spain nobody even asked for it or looked at it and to top that off - as we went through the customs area they had a recycling bin to drop our hard copies into...lol
