The remaining senior employees were actually quite sad after the departure of the naughty senior employees, and never did manage to find people to replace them. The remaining senior employees struggled without the naughty senior employees, eventually leading to big changes, while the naughty senior employees, having found new confidence in their ability to build a new, successful medical technology company, lived happily ever after.
