Dividend History 1) Pembina has been paying dividends since 1998..
2) Dividends have increased regulary since 1998, but not every year, and not by amy predictable percentage.
3) The company has never increased its dividends without being sure it can keep paying that dividend without having to reduce it sometime in the futrure... so this has provided excellent stability and great confidence for investors.
4) I have compiled a list of all the Annual Dividends declared since 1998, and calculated the percentage increase year over year since then:

2023 | 2.66 | -3.80% |
The highest increase was 17.14% in 2007, the 2nd largest increase wasa 10.4% increase in 2018, and,the 3rd largest increase was 9.76% in in 2006. Tthere was a 3-year period (from 2003-2005) when dividends didn't increase at all. Same thing for 2010 & 2011. Over the last 23 years, dividends increased by an average of 4.84%.
In 2022, Pembina paid an extra month of dividends at the end of December just before, dividends payments switched from monthly to quarterly. That is why in 2023 it seems like the total annual dividends went down, but in reality, Pembina maintained the payout at 3x the latest monthly dividend amount when it started paying quarterly starting March 2023.
During my accumulation phase, I used the DRIP feature to reinvest my diviededs, but once I retired recently, I stopped the DRIP.. It was an excellent strategy to grow my share count.
Now that I am retired, I am enjoying the dividends and its providing me a very comfortable lifestyle... I just hope, Pembina can keep increaseing the dividends at an above average rate so we can keep up with the inflation going forward.
Remember: Pembina'smajority of earnings are guaranteed for the next 20-25 years... Pembina's Dividend Payout has always been less than its annual earning (unlike companies like EMBRIDGE) and according to its leatest CEO interview will be running around 50% level. So Pembina has lots of room to increase its dividends if need be, So I have no qualms in saying that 85% of my stock porfilio is invested in Pembina.
I hope you too can enjoy this unique gem of a company for many many years to come.
