RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Goliath is a much better buy than the three Amigos IMO There is no block cave that can compete cost wise with KSM's low strip open pits. Block caving works under very specific conditions...the orebody must be essentially vertical, the rock must have specific mechanics that allow it to crack and mine itself and the ore still needs to come to surface for milling so deep is not good. Note that very few mining companies do it. The world's largest, BHP, will not touch block caving. Neither does Barrick.
