Tesla was targeted by a hedge fund manager who actually took to the forums to spread fear, uncertainly and doubt (FUD) amongst investors through what is called a short and distort campaign.  His primary subject was the warranty cost on electric motors vs gas motors. Ironically average Joe's who had ever worked on both knee darn well that electric motors are super easy to work on and some likely did very well buying during the FUD-era prior to Tesla turning profitable.

If you think Tilray and Tesla are similar then I actually agree but for reasons other than your own
