RE:added more Crew..now where is that 'age of gas' valuation? I have been predominantly invested in nat gas plays in western Canada for well over a decade now.
Times have been alternativey both horrible and fantastic. The number one bugaboo has of course been the tremendous quantities of shale gas coupled with producers proclivity to over produce nat gas as a throwaway byproduct.
Those days are coming to an end. The reasons are many , but you can start with the very low cost , reliability and cleanliness of nat gas compared to all other alternatives. Very important also is the growing demand from so many sources including power , agriculture , petrochemicals , transportation (methanol and ethanol ) etc. etc.
Asia will lead the way for future demand and given enough time , LNG and ammonia plants will be sprouting all along the west coast (the Japanese have pioneered Ammonia as an alternate to LNG )
While we all wait for Camelot , there is of course Liquids to slake our thirst
Once again we have strollen through the valley of darkness , but the depth of that valley has only served to make the new heights that more enjoyable !!
