RE:Ifokgonow wrote: Acording to some there has been so much manipulation and back door dealing in regards to this takeover by Alamos why does anyone still think this isn't a done deal at this point.???
if true do any of the experts in here think that BOD of AR and the two institutional shareholders that seem to be on board regarding the deal, as well as Alamos who hold a consequtial chunk of shares now and who definitely want the deal to go through will now leave it up to the retail shareholders to make the final decision (by hopefully voting yes ) ???
To all those people give your heads a good shake and when done I have some prime swamp land to sell.pay first and I will send the deed in the mail...sometime.
The best way to see if I'm right is for retail holders to stop selling them cheap shares I bet the price would rise if they don't have the necessary shares to make it happen as of now. They will be forced to keep buying until they are 100%!certain they have enough without a single retail holder having to vote YES
Alamos and AR can do whatever deal they want. Their is always the possibility of another offer coming in from another buyer anytime which could result in a bit of a bidding war as Magino is a huge asset for Alamos because they are next door. They will save huge money in synergies and using ARs new mill.
I am not opposed to Alamos buying Magino as they have the cash and income to make it go quickly. It is just the giveaway sale price i dont like for a brand new mill and huge resources.
That being said if no other companies step up that means that this is the best deal they could get and Alamos gets a steal and AR shareholders get the shaft.
I still wouldnt count out another offer just yet.
