Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Duvernay resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. The PRA is its original asset area. Ok that's a smart recommendation to make to investors.

This dividend is also useless.  Most other dividend stocks either have a small run up the day before to account for the after hours adjustment of the SP for ex div day,  or on ex div day it will make it up quickly thus appearing to outperform.  Not this thing.  Just looses that exact value overnight and doesn't recover it.  As a comparison to others.  I guess if you look at WCP in a vacuum it great when you ignore how the rest of the market is doing.   So don't compare to others like CPG.  You will be happy.
