Cantex has a Quartz Mine Permit but no Operating Mine Permit. There has not been any access road approved over 50 Km long in the last decade in Yukon. Unless there is a Land Use Plan in place at the Beaver Creek and Peel watersheds, and First Nation's (FNNND) blessing, there will not be a tote road there. The recent landmark appeal victory by FNNND against Metallic and Govt of Yukon, and the court reversal of ATAC road approval said it all. Even Fireweed supported by Teck and Lundin which is much more advanced than Cantex, had voluntarily withdrawn its access road application. Looks like CD without the 43-101, PEA and bankable report for its estimated $1.5 billion Capex and $120 million road costs is in tough on proving mine feasibility.
