RE:Why after a lengthy time ....I am assuming that you are referring to C 1036-2021.

The defense objected to the exhorto on the grounds that the plaintiffs had not requested a extraordinary evidentiary period in order to accommodte the processing of the exhorto.

After their usual slowness, the Court rejected the objection, granted an extraordinary evidentiary period of six months, and approved the processing of the exhorto.  (Not that it will have any more success than the previous requests for testimony.)
