open letter to managementThis is in continuation of my letters sent to you before the last couple of Annual General meetings. I am once again getting worried and disheartened at the lack of movement of the share price of the company and consequently the health of the company in the eyes of the general investing public and the investment houses. Being a public company, it is incumbent on the Board of Directors and the Senior Management to look after the interest of all the stakeholders, particularly the shareholders. The abovementioned PR is the first time that the company has shown even a modicum of ethical responsibility towards its most important component of your stakeholders’ group-the shareholders. For that I thank you. Having said that, the proof is in the pudding and let’s see if your principles are where your mouth is. Hopefully, the Board and particularly its useless Chair should ask for forgiveness about the shareholders miserable negative returns for the last decade and commit to taking some positive steps to increase returns based on company’s many positive steps which are always highlighted through numerous stock opens (RSUs and PSUs) awarded to senior management and Board and as well unusually high salary and bonuses. Unfortunately, I don’t see that sort ethics in any of you as Board of Directors who have thoroughly disappointed the shareholders for the last decade. It is pathetic to see the price languishing in the pennies when the nickel price is at a historical high and the demand for the company’s products are skyrocketing while the production is staying steady and about to increase. Also, it may be a good thing to have a board member who is not from amongst you. Also, a smaller board of more active and positive people would be far superior to what is presently in place. I sure hope so.
Please try and make this company great again. You have the opportunity; you have the duty and you have the wherewithal to do. Please work with good ethical values and principles.
Good luck and regards to all of you.
