If there are competing brands of the tool on the market, I'm never surprised when they choose a different brand because that brand has re-engineered the tool to makes it even better. Duke University buying a second unit tells me VPT is not only useful, it's the best option on the market. Sure. MAYO may feel a competing brand is better, but my guess is if the technicians at Duke feel VPT is the best and worth buying two, that many others will be taking notice and it won't be long before this gets going. Especially when insurance companies start dictating the level of care. Insurance companies may start insisting on VPT before sending the patient for an MRI. This should be hovering around .50 and head to a dollar so don't be surprised if it's spring loaded and it shoots past both those targets without giving us a chance to collect. Just my opinion and I admit. I'm biased and waiting for 2025.
