I am not so sure. The new buyback program announced in late February limits the company to buy a maximum of 162,537 shares daily:
"The total number of Shares that Gear is permitted to purchase is subject to a daily purchase limit of 162,537 Shares,"
Would that influence the share price? I do not think so. A dividend yield of 8%/9% represents a nice floor until such time as higher net cash flow and profit are realized later this year.
