Pierrelebel Your point was well taken , just look at BTE for example , they are called a Cash Flow machine buy some who claim to know and advise others , so what has those Millions in buybacks brought shareholders, SQUAT , just a lower price along with very low dividend. So much for buybacks , if BTE rewarded shareholders instead of mgmts financial engineering there would be a 7 in front of the SP if a decent dividend was given. There's probably a very big disconnect between Investors and Renters like Nuttal who advocate buybacks more than anything. The odds of him and those like him owning anything for any length of time is virtually NIL. Nothing wrong with that tactic but please refrain from claiming to be a real investor , just admit that their are some who just love to trade in and out daily.I firmly believe that Shareholders have the right as theirs is real money to decide where to deploy those dividend , whether in new shares or somewhere else.I personally almost always reinvest those divs in the company who issued them ,Unless the story changes and no longer makes sense.
