RE:Maxmoe

RE:Maxmoe If a giant buyback is good enough for apple, it's good enough for me. I'm not talking about the standard NCIB where every company announces their intentions to buy back stock, but then never buy squat. I'm talking about companies like ATH which I would cite as the best example. Without the buybacks who knows how much lower it would be, but even with a 5% yield, oil stocks are not saved by their yield if oil drops but they sure get slaughtered, temporarily, if there is a cut. They eventually recover because nobody buys penny oil stocks for the yield. Or they sure shouldn't. Buy bell. Yes I have a lot of work to do on my property this summer. I may have to hire somebody this year. A lot of trees blown down. A few blown right out of the ground roots and all. Large trees. Luckily none near my cabin or my bridge or across the driveway. But I'm going to be set for firewood for 20 years.
