Drilling, The Most Volatile Segment of a Volatile Industry

Drilling, The Most Volatile Segment of a Volatile IndustryESI is well run and has a great major shareholder in Murray Edwards, but it is still tiny market cap wise, and it is packing a ton of debt. Drilling and service activity can turn on a dime, what was palnned for the year can get cancelled at the drop of a hat. You can make money buying and selling ESI, I have for a couple or three decades, but it is NOT a buy and hold stock. Anyone that tries to buy and hold it long term will be very disappointed in their returns. Buy low, sell high, and quit wishing for the stock to behave any different than it has for 30 years.
