Good afternoon Carena.

"The BPO prefs have recovered strongly from the lows..."

Yes they have recovered very nicely from their October and December lows.

However the last month has been so so.  A quick look at the last 30 day charts for the "A", "C" or "G" shows small decline while "N", "R" and "P" did fine.

The "T" shares seem stuck around $15.  I expected to see them in the $16/$17 range by now for a 10%+ yield.  They are still paying over 11% - not that I am complaining but I expected more!

While I still expect interest rates in Canada to be lower by year end, it seems evident the decline may not be as much as the markets expected four months ago.  Time will tell.

In the meantime let's enjoy those tax advantaged dividends!
