My wife and I are not "birdbrain" and yes we have purchased GXE for the yield (8.96% in early April) and are quite satisfied with the current share uptrend while WTI is slipping and most Canadian larger oil producer shares are going nowhere for the last month.

We did not expect a substantial capital gain but... we will take it if it comes!
