RE:RE:NXE news

RE:RE:NXE news@FredBP  - NXE isn't alone when it comes to purchasing uranium from the market.  DML has purchased uranium from the market during the current bull market as have some other smaller suppliers.  CCO and Kazatomprom make market purchases from time to time to fill holes in their sales book too.

Without holding any uranium, how would NXE bid on an RFP from a utility seeking to purchase uranium for a reactor during the commissioning stage of the mine?  A promise from NXE that Arrow would be up and running to fill a utilities RFP wouldn't be good enough.

NXE's uranium purchase is basically an insurance policy to customer's that NXE can supply as requested in an RFP.

Who knows, NXE could possibly need to good to the market again if it sold uranium to a utility and Arrow wasn't yet up and running.

Evidently, the market thought that NXE paid too much for the uranium purchase but that's a different story altogether.
