Its all about money and opportunity. If I am working for a startup company like this most definitely I would be holding shares in hidden accts to avoid disclosing the buying and selling disclosures. No would admit it but quite possible it exist. So I won't worry about who got paid or not....JMHO 
Its a big game IMHO..... Still wondering how many patents they have and who holds them....
