RE:While we wait and wonder about Marwayne getting moving....
Since ancient times, peoples worked hard and found ways to make trade and trade routes possible for the betterment of each trading parties.  Like not starving, avoidance of disease, staying sheltered and warm (or cool). This is what the prior generations mindset comprised of. Today our progressive media and edu leading young minds (... Stop here)

Heavy oil is complex hydrocarbons, refineries custom built to handle these grades love these grades because they can crack into many products. Raw materials destined to be fashioned into higher end products, and of course combustion too (aviation fuels, airplanes).  Asian and US gulf coast refineries, world refineries are willing to pay. Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Venezula, etc., receive top prices based on Brent (sweet light grade) for their heavy grade oil.  Normally $US5 premium to WTI.  These countries are getting their heavy oil to market.

In Western Canada, our heavy oil ought to be receiving world prices for our precious commodity. But it doesn't!! instead for decades we receive discounted prices based on WTI. Its just a pipeline ... to get to markets.

Imagine getting premium aboce Brent prices (like what Suncor is trying to do, the article BlitzerII included), bring $$  back home. What a stronger Western Canadian economy may translate to better jobs, better education and better medical facilites. We know that but .

Companies like AXE R&D for a future economies should be embraced and flourishing, but instead we languish due to many factor (owe doing) but lack investment capital comes to mind, low share price cannot be used as currency, etc. We need innovation, our future depends on it.
