RE:RE:Raymond James reduced Target to $40.50 from $43.00Very well written.
There's a not great, call it adequate, book " Zebra in Lion Country " about how people as investors can feast better by being on the outside of the herd rather than inside with the general mass of investors.
Once you gain some experience with more mainstream stocks, you should begin to read analysts and start to have some reaction about the content. The most useful analyst reports , in my experience , are the initial reports because they explain in some considerable detail what the company does and, once you have an understanding of that ,you can decide if you want to look into them further and make a guess/ educated judgement about whether the company is worth investing in.
One thing I would disagree with you about is price targets, you can get hung up on them and there's that momentum thing ; the question to ask yourself is whether the company is fairly valued and has more growth ahead of it.
Thinking about your comments on CMI.
