Easy there with your exuberance in our trio, whom we already explained the makeup thereof to answer your prior question, getting out too early JC. If you actually read the entire post, we clearly stated we are tapering our way out. Which means, we sold 20k shares last Friday, 25k shares yesterday and another 30k shares today. Not the least bit upset that our first 45k shares sold .12 cents lower than today's 30k. Quick math says we booked 75k shares at a great profit. Still own another 140k shares even after the prior three sales. So JC, we're quite happy with today's nice gain. And, we continue to hope share price rises. We want everyone to make money in Taseko. Don't let hubris bite you in the butt. Nothing wrong with taking profits off the table ever, especially if you are concerned with overall market conditions. In our view, our good buddy DC, who originally brought us to this awesome Taseko story (and profits) hasn't sold nearly enough. But even he is getting close to pulling the trigger. By the way, we also said in the prior post that if copper prices continue to rise quickly, the parameters would change, like today but we still believe $3 US is the top until Florence gets closer to production. Also still doubt it hits $3 anytime soon. Hope it does as we have more shares to taper out. In the meantime, we're very happy that all of the Taseko long holders are making nice gains.
Joe. I did read the entire post and I know you are tapering out. That's fine. My problem with tapering out is that I have to put the money somewhere. You have to view cash as an investment in its own right and with inflation it only declines.
You and I are on the same page about Biden. China is going after Taiwan. Maybe this summer. We might end up in a war with China which will be a very ugly thing. It is a hard to know how to invest in that situation .
This run up in copper is remarkable in how fast and far up it has gone. Someone is hoarding copper. China?
I don't know where we will be a year from now, but the world is going to change a lot in a year.
