Not the best call on a bunch of fronts. And it shouldn't be on the 'analysts' to drag information out of the company, rather, it should be the company offering up tangible forward looking guidance. In this case, the call was esentially more of the same. I don't think they're downplaying their successes, I just think that positive trending isn't worthy of a ticker tape parade and it seems as if that this is their perspective as well. Running a sustaintable business is hard, especially in the weed sector, but LABS won't get any love for simply running a sustainable business I'm afraid.
Too much secrecy around 'partners' and not enough tangible facts around those partners and what they're doing with them.
Certainly don't like that there is no fixed profitability guidance either and that they still seem fixated on M&A rather than a share buyback to increase SP/value. The carcasses will still be there so a near term buyback to give your shareholders some love would go a long way to get noticed. As I've said before, if LABS can't grow and make big money with what they have now, in the tail wind environment that now exists, bolting on another broken business or two won't win the day either.
