RE:Share buy back

RE:Share buy backI stand corrected.  I misread.

They will/can be buying back ~8,643,000 shares on the TSX over ~255 trading days = ~34,000 shares/day.

They are limited to a max of ~66,000 shares any one day.

They will/can be buying back ~5,149,000 shares on the NYSE over ~255 trading days = ~20,000/shares/day.

Assuming they max out and assuming a share price of $15 USD that would equal an expenditure of $810,000 USD/day or $206 million USD/year or ~$50 million USD/quarter.  Net income is currently $20 million USD/quarter.  "Looking" has suggested that they have promised more than they can deliver - possibly.  Are they anticipating a share price collapse?  Silver rocketing to $50/oz?  An asset sale?  We don't know!
