RE:RE:I Looked At Lundin Group Of Companies

RE:RE:I Looked At Lundin Group Of CompaniesI think Helios is selling AOI. I think Helios was very important for the growth of AOI, because they were important for entering Nigeria offshore. I think once they said they want to create a real African Oil Company with African DNA. I do not know if Helios is still influencing AOI or not. I do not understand why they are selling?

The second generation of the Lundins were the founders of AOI. The third generation of the Lundins publish photos with wind power stations. I assume the third generation sold their shares of Africa Oil and Africa Energy (but I am not 100% sure because the Ludins are hidding their investments behind company names like zebra etc. The Lundins kept Shamaran (SNM) as oil company which is growing in North Irak Kurdistan and they kept IOC. And I think they still own Lundin Energy indirectly = shares of Aker BP.

Africa Oil Corp (CVE:AOI - Get Free Report) insider Stampede Natural Resources S.a.r.l. sold 2,562,333 shares of Africa Oil stock in a transaction dated Wednesday, May 8th.

I think AOI is still a good oil company, but I think the management team could and should do better deals. And the management team is missing the historical chance to grab aggressively more assets in Namibia offshore.
